Syracuse Man Accused of Stealing from SF Liquor Store

Seneca Falls Police arrested Michael J. Bertrand, age 56, 105 Upton St, Syracuse, NY on November 29th, 2013 at about 1:30pm during a larceny investigation. Bertrand was observed stealing three bottles of liquor valued at $125.00 from Pedulla’s Liquor Store on Bridge Street by the owner who called 911 and provided his description as well as the vehicle description.  Bertrand was stopped on Fall Street and found to have the stolen property with him.  Bertrand was charged with Petit Larceny and committed to the Seneca County Correctional Facility by Judge Barto of the Waterloo Village Court.  He is to appear in Seneca Falls Town Court on December 11th, 2013 at 9am.  Bertrand is also the person of interest in additional larcenies from liquor stores in the surrounding counties and those agencies will be following up with Bertrand.
