Officer Christopher Denny has been serving the Seneca Falls community since May of 2008 when he was hired as a police officer for the Village of Seneca Falls Police Department. Officer Denny received his academy training at the Finger Lakes Law Enforcement Academy. Officer Denny is a graduate of SUNY Canton, having attained an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Criminal Justice and a Bachelor of Technology Degree in Public Safety Technology: Criminal Investigations. Officer Denny has also completed Tactical Medical Care Provider Training, Street Crimes Survival Seminar and Training, Active Shooter Response Training, and Basic Interview and Interrogation Training. He also serves as one of the police department’s field training officers. Officer Denny is also a recipient of the Life Saving Award, given to a police officer that goes above and beyond the performance of his or her official duties in order to save an individual’s life.
