Man Arrested for Growing Cannabis in Field

On 06/10/13 at approximately 6:31 a.m. the Seneca Falls Police Department arrested Michael D. Carfora, age 43, 2006 E. River Road, Waterloo, NY on charges of Unlawfully Growing Cannabis, Unlawful Possession of Marijuana, and Trepass. Carfora was arrested after police received a complaint of a suspicious vehicle parked next to a field on George Road. Further investigation by police revealed that Carfora was trespassing and growing cannabis without having a license to do so. He was arraigned in Fayette and released after posting bail. He is to appear in Seneca Falls Town Court on 06/12/13 at 10:00 a.m. to answer the charges. The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office assisted in the arrest.
