Man Accused of Pushing 2-Year-Old Child During Domestic Dispute

On 01/12/13 at approximately 7:16 p.m. the Seneca Falls Police Department arrested James R. Hill, age 28, of 2133 Route 5 and 20, Apt. 4C, Seneca Falls, NY following a police investigation of a domestic dispute. Hill is accused of engaging in a physical confrontation with a female and a 2-year-old child by pushing the female while the 2-year-old was in between Hill and the female. Hill is also accused of pushing the child. The female and the child were reportedly not injured. Police investigation also revealed Hill possessed a small quantity of marijuana during the dispute. Hill left the scene prior to police arrival, but was located a few hours later and taken into custody. He was arraigned on charges of Harassment in the Second Degree, Endangering the Welfare of a Child, and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana and committed to SCCF on $1000 Cash/$2000 Bond. He is to re-appear on 01/23/13 at 10:00 a.m. to answer the charges. A stay-away order of protection was issued for the child and female.
