Auburn Man Arrested Following Burglary Investigation

On 01.02.2014 @ 7:55 PM, Town of Seneca Falls Police arrested Liberty S. Tallman, age 30, of 2 Spring Street, Auburn, New York. Police charged Tallman with Grand Larceny in the Fourth Degree (E Felony) and Criminal Mischief in the Third Degree (E Felony). The arrest stemmed from a 12.24.13 investigation when the owner / operator of the Seneca Falls Joe’s Hots reported a possible burglary at the business. Police responded to the business and learned that property had been damaged in an amount exceeding $250.00. Additionally, the surveillance camera hard drive and currency was stolen from the business in a combined amount that exceeded $1,000.00. Arraignment was before the Seneca Falls Town court where Tallman was committed to the custody of the Seneca County Correctional Facility on $5,000.00 cash bail or $10,000.00 secure bond. Tallman is scheduled to re-appear in Seneca Falls Town Court on 01.06.14 at 6:00 PM to further answer the charges.
